1. Who is responsible for your data

Britt Omnitz

Germany

email: brittomnitz@gmail.com

2. What data we process

When you sign up, we process your email address. To prove that you gave your consent, we also store the time of your sign-up, the time of your confirmation click, and the IP address used for both.

3. Why we process it, and on what legal basis

We use your email address to send you news about past interactions. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give by ticking the checkbox and confirming your address via the link in our confirmation email (double opt-in). We store the sign-up and confirmation records to be able to prove your consent. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in documenting valid consent (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Providing your email address is voluntary. Without it, we cannot contact you as part of our mailing list. We do not use automated decision-making or profiling.

4. Who receives your data

We work with Brevo to collect your data and send you our messages. Brevo acts on our behalf and in accordance with our instructions. We remain responsible for how your data is used for this purpose. Brevo may also use some of this data for its own purposes to keep its platform secure (for example, to detect attempted fraud or hacking). You can find more information in Brevo's Privacy Policy.

5. How long we store your data

We store your email address until you unsubscribe. After that, we delete it. Sign-up and confirmation records are kept for as long as needed to prove your consent.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict its processing, to object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to receive your data in a portable format. Write to britt.o@past-interactions.com to exercise these rights. You can withdraw your consent at any time, with effect for the future, using the unsubscribe link in every email or by writing to us. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit, Alt-Moabit 59–61, 10555 Berlin, mailbox@datenschutz-berlin.de, www.datenschutz-berlin.de.

8. Email tracking

We do not measure whether you open our emails or click links.
